Remodelers Advantage: IZAR Roundtables

Rick and Jason Willet attended their Izar Roundtables meeting in May. Roundtables are a peer-group program run by Remodelers Advantage that brings together non-competing remodeling companies to share experiences and help each other improve their company. The Izar group includes ten remodeling companies from various regions of the country. The states represented by the Izar group include Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. This Spring meeting was hosted by one of the members, Better Builders, located in Seattle, Washington. All of the group’s members traveled to Seattle to see how Better Builders operates and to look for areas of improvement.

The first day is focused on receiving feedback from Better Builders’ employees. Then the group puts together a strategic plan with goals to solve any issues and improve processes. After the time spent focusing on Better Builders, the Roundtable Meeting goes on with each company having a focus time to receive feedback from their peer companies.

This is Rick and Jason’s third site visit meeting. Every site visit is an opportunity to help the host company, and to see what they do exceptionally well and how then Willet Construction can apply it to their business. Willet Construction has been involved in Roundtables since 2014. The time spent conversing with other great remodelers in the industry has been instrumental in helping Willet Construction provide top-quality service to our customers.

The next Izar Roundtables meeting will be in the Fall at the Remodelers Advantage Summit. The Summit includes all of the Roundtables groups with keynote speakers, industry leaders, and product vendors. This is a great time to learn about new ideas and products.​
