The homeowners on this project were ready for some tweaks to their kitchen, plus they wanted a new fridge, so cabinetry needed to be created or modified to suit their needs.

To accommodate the new, larger fridge, the existing cabinet received a valance above the fridge, and the cabinet to the left of the fridge received 5 rollout shelves. Their second dishwasher was removed from the island and replaced with a new trash cabinet. The wine racks were removed and replaced with open shelving on either side of a cabinet with hardware that lifts. A new lazy Susan was added, and open shelving at the end of the island received doors.

The perimeter cabinetry was painted an ivory color while the island was painted black. The countertop and flooring remained, but the backsplash was updated along with the cabinet hardware and lighting. The walls received a fresh coat of paint along with the doors and trim.
