The center of entertainment in this home was ready for an update. The bar could only be accessed from one side, making it cramped and cumbersome. The homeowners were also tired of all the dark wood in the room.
The new bar was designed with an island for better flow. New Evoke cabinets were installed with a Dove finish. Upper cabinets sit on the countertop to maximize display space behind the glass cabinet doors. A dynamic backsplash also stretches from counter to ceiling with two floating wood shelves by Plato Woodwork for more display area and to add interest to the wall.
The countertops on the island and back lower cabinets are Cambria quartz in St Isley. Rather than plain cabinet boxes, the exterior of the island was covered in tile with a wood look to add warmth to the room and to tie in with the LVP flooring.
The entire room received new Andersen windows and new patio door as the old ones were becoming cloudy.
All the doors and trim in the room were painted along with the windows and wainscot.
