For this project the homeowners were ready to update their two main bathrooms to fit their current lifestyle. When the house was built, they were just starting their family. Now their children are grown, and updates were in order.
In the hall bath the tub was traded for a walk-in shower, better suited for tall users. The vanity was updated with rectangular sinks and a gray quartz countertop. The floor throughout was updated with 24x24 tile and matching tile baseboard. The update was completed with new plumbing fixtures, paint, and light fixtures.
The master also received new countertops, but the tub and shower area was reconfigured to expand the shower and add linen storage along with a free-standing tub in place of the large jetted tub. The flooring and shower walls were both covered with 24x24 matte tile that just adds a softness to the room. while the rest of the walls received 8x24 white tile. New plumbing and lighting fixtures were installed, along with fresh paint. The updated look is smart and timeless.
