For this project the goal was to introduce the home to the 21st century while keeping a foot in the midcentury era in which it was built.
The original primary bedroom and adjoining bath were converted into a large walk-in closet and larger bathroom. The doorway from the hall bath to the primary was closed in and the space for the original primary bath became the shower area.
The closets between the two rooms were removed to expand the space in the bedroom.
The hall bath is now a bright modern and private space. Besides plumbing fixtures, both bathrooms received new lighting, cabinetry, and mirrors.
The original floors were uncovered and refinished throughout the bedroom and closet areas with LVP flooring in the bathrooms.
Siding was also updated and windows replaced throughout the home.
