February Newsletter
This year is flying by so fast – we didn’t get our January newsletter out! Did you get your holiday decorations put away? Hopefully you were able to sort through them as you went and got rid of those that you don’t use any longer. Now we’re getting ready for Valentine’s Day, watching the Olympics, and looking forward to the Home & Garden Show. We’re not really sure what the weather is going to bring from one day to the next. We’ve gotten a taste of spring and are ready to leave the sweaters behind all together. On the days we might have temps in the single digits again, use those for cleaning out a closet or dump space to gain some breathing room in your home. If you’re not a minimalist, you might be surprised how clearing a space brings you peace.

Part of every design includes color. Color theory is used to pick colors that go well together and set the right mood or message in your room.
Fun Fact
Early color theory goes back as far as around 350 BC with Aristotle in his writing On Colors. He linked certain colors to the elements. He wrote light does not have a color, but all colors are visible because of it. His writing remained influential until Isaac Newton and his experiments with light refraction in the 1600s.
