‘Twas the end of December and all through the house,

Every creature was stirring, but, no, not one mouse.

Cards neatly placed on the mantel with care,

and holiday books were stacked by the chair.

Presents were wrapped, the cookies were baked,

All that was left was selecting the cake.

Black Forest, a Yule Log, an eggnog confection,

Which would be best for the holiday auction?

Make them all! was suggested, oh what a treat

To cook in the new kitchen was really quite neat.

Each drawer neatly organized,

Each cupboard lit nicely,

The spices were lined up like soldiers, precisely.

My wishes were answered, my kitchen a dream.

The function was never before ever seen.

Thank you, Jenny, thank you Karl, thank you Thom, Wes, and Maison,

Thank you, Eric and Jeremy, Jarrod, and Aiden.

The team worked like elves to make it come true.

Now, nevermore, will my Christmas be blue.

Featured Project – Design Studio

As promised, here are some photos of our new Design Studio. A lot of thought and care went into making each decision. The goal was to give our clients the opportunity to see and experience the options available to them when designing any area in the home. From showing each type of siding and window trim available to the bells and whistles cabinetry can hold.

Design Corner – One last idea for organization in 2025 – a peek into one of the drawers in the design studio. The two spots in the middle of the drawer are for rolls of whatever you use most in the kitchen – plastic wrap, tinfoil, waxed paper. This drawer is also lit, so you can look for your favorite spatula without turning on the kitchen light.

Fun Fact – Where did Rudolph come from? He really was a marketing ploy, first used by Montgomery Ward in 1939. A copywriter for the store, Robert L. May, wrote Rudolph into a children’s coloring book that would be given out to promote the store. More than 2.4 million copies were distributed in the first year.
